THE ROBOTIC SUMMER CAMP IS A PILOT PROJECT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS AND CANADIAN AND JAMAICAN BUSINESSES

Zed Jamaica,  Island Fortune, and Mars Business Solutions in partnership with Zebra Robotics explore the possibility of Robotics as an educational gateway to our school’s curriculum in Jamaica and possibly the wider Caribbean. We intend to facilitate this as part of an initial Pilot Program for a couple of selected schools in Jamaica during the month of July 2024.

 Details of the Project

The Pilot Project would facilitate a total of Two Hundred and Forty students (240) over four weeks.

  • The selected five schools (Jamaica College, Ardenne High, Hillel Academy, St. Hilda’s High, and Wolmer’s Boys) have committed to providing the venue and adequate resources within the schools to facilitate teaching and learning.

  • Island Fortune Limited provides the initial investment to cover the requisite resources to jump-start the project.

  • Zebra Robotics, facilitates their expertise in Robotics which would include but not be limited to training of the instructors/teachers, curriculum, tests/exams, student online training/classes/programs/coding, etc. Facilitate technical requirements for 240 cohorts, tools, training requirements, technical support, and certification. Provide pricing mechanism required to facilitate success and profit for all stakeholders.
